About Us
Established in 1960 and based in the commercial hub of Johannesburg, Nicholas Yale (Pty) Ltd is the oldest, largest, and most well-known importer and distributor to the South African civilian firearm industry. We supply popular brands to over 800 active dealers in southern Africa.
We specialise in the wholesale distribution of the following categories of products:

- Ammunition
- Reloading equipment and components,
- Airguns
- Optics
- Firearm related accessories.
Nicholas Yale (Pty) Ltd supports the trade and shooters in South Africa in the form of regular sponsorships of prizes and funding for events such as national and provincial shooting competitions.
We currently employ 15 full-time staff:
- 5 Salespeople - in house and on the road
- 5 Warehouse personnel, including a delivery driver
- 5 Office / Administration / Management staff
